The essential Airsoft GB rules:

Wear proper eye protection AT ALL TIMES when in game play areas and when in the vicinity of play areas. Full face masks are essential for any player under the age of 18 years old
Always point your airsoft gun in a safe direction when not in use. Do not aim or shoot at anyone out of gameplay
Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot
Swearing/abusive behaviour to marshals will not be tolerated nor will aggressive behaviour to any other players or any deliberate damage to the site or equipment (of either others player or AGBs)
Before leaving game areas:

Always remove all magazines from any airsoft weapon, be it pistol or AEG
Discharge/fire weapon (where possible) into the ground multiple times
Put all guns on safety and do not at any point dry fire
Marshals will check and punish any infringements

No shooting at any birds or animals
No dry firing outside of the game area
Our player age limit is 12. Player under 14 years old have to be accompanied by an adult (who does not necessarily have to play)
Under 18s must have their disclaimer signed by an adult
Snipers must have a pistol or sidearm weapon for close action
All HPA (High Pressure Air) users must have their regulator tournament locked after correctly chronographing
Only pyrotechnics sold on-site or pre-approved by AGB staff, may be used and no one under 18 may buy or use pyrotechnics. Any doubts please check with a marshal on the day.
LIPO BATTERIES at AirsoftGB
We ask all players to be extremely vigilant when charging Lipo batteries and do not leave them charging unattended. Charge them in a Lipo bag. And if your battery is showing any signs of swelling, damage or can be heard fizzing dispose of it in a responsible manner. Lipo batteries do explode and catch fire. Players can charge batteries on our site however LIPO BATTERIES MUST BE CHARGED IN A LIPO CHARGE BAG AND MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED.
TREAT ALL AIRSOFT GUNS AS IF THEY ARE REAL GUNS

During gameplay:

No blind firing. You must be able to see your target before shooting
We expect good sportsmanship from our players
Airsoft is a game of honour so take your hits. If in doubt, take it as a hit
Rebounding BBs do not count as a hit unless you are in a building
When throwing a grenade shout 'GRENADE' as you throw
If you see that players are not taking hits, tell a marshal, don’t yell and scream at the player
The marshals have walkie talkies (on channel 9) and have whistles
1 whistle blow is start game, 2 blows are game over and 3 blows are stop play. In the event of three whistle blows keep eye protection on and await further instructions
If out in the playing/game area, eye protection must be kept on at all times

Site limits

All guns that are not rented from us will be tested on arrival with either 0.20g BBs and or using the correct weight BB in use in joules. All guns must be tested and tagged.

With the increasing close quarter areas and a squeeze on the laws over airsoft, our team has decided it is time to lower our limits. Limits will be the following, (0.20g bb representation)

FPS:
- AEG/Pistols max 350 FPS
- DMR (locked to semi) max 450 FPS
- Bolt Action Snipers 500 FPS
Joule rating:
- AEG/Pistols max 1.14j
- DMR (locked to semi) max 1.88j
- Bolt Action Snipers 2.32j
Minimum shooting distance for any gun over 350 FPS/1.14j is 30 metres

We reserve the right to chrono guns at any stage during event days.

This must be read carefully before you take part in any event. This set of rules is not a comprehensive list of safety rules and guidelines for the use and ownership of airsoft guns. This list is intended to assist Airsoft GB Ltd and User in understanding the responsibility that is a fundamental part of owning/using one of these products. This is no substitute for common sense and discretion when using an airsoft gun.

Always when in safe zone: DO NOT engage magazine, DO NOT pull your trigger, DO NOT dry fire your gun
Always keep your gun unloaded in the safe zone. When leaving game area take magazines out of all your guns, clear chambers and put safety switches on
No dry firing in safe zone
Triggers can only be pulled when players have goggles on and are in game area
Wear proper eye protection AT ALL TIMES when playing with airsoft guns. Full face masks are highly recommended and compulsory for under 18s
No shooting closer than 30 metres (98.42’) for guns over 350 fps

AT AIRSOFT GB WE RECOMMEND THAT ALL PLAYERS WEAR A FULL FACE MASK. PLAYERS NOT DOING SO DO IT AT THEIR OWN RISK. Goggles are to be CE marked and conform to either EU EN1731 standard 2006 or EN 166/170 and should be able to withstand a close range impact from a 6 - 8mm airsoft ball fired at 500 fps.

I understand that:

The events are physically and mentally intense and may require extreme exertion to play
The events can be dangerous if not played in accordance with the stated rules which will be fully explained to the players
The possibility of injury to me and others exists
I am fully aware of the risks to myself and others involved in the activities
I will NEVER, under any circumstances, deliberately break the rules
I am physically fit and mentally able to take the strain and exertion involved
I will comply with the site rules and use the equipment as instructed and not so as to injure or hurt others
I confirm that my goggles are CE marked and conform to either EU EN1731 standard 2006 or EN 166/170 and can withstand a close range impact from a 6 - 8mm airsoft ball fired at 500 fps. Should my goggles not conform to this condition then I waive any liability arising from the use of my own goggles.
I will wear my goggles and not remove them at any time with the exception of the designated safe zone

Release

I hereby release, remise and forever discharge from any claims and liabilities whatsoever without limitation that I might have against the organisers/site owners and any other player who might injure me howsoever arising and I make this release on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors and administrators

Covid-19

COVID-19: All players must follow all instructions given by staff and signage whilst on site and agree to the following:

I AGREE THAT I HAVE NOT HAD ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS IN THE LAST 14 DAYS.
I AGREE IF I OR ANY ONE PERSON FROM MY HOUSEHOLD SHOWS COVID-19 SYMPTOMS I AND ALL MEMBERS OF MY HOUSEHOLD WILL HAVE TO LEAVE SITE IMMEDIATELY
